Concrete Mixer Machine Price in India: What Decides the Cost
“What is the price of a concrete mixer?” is the first question most builders ask, and the honest answer is that it depends. Two machines that look the same can differ a lot in price because of what is inside them. This guide explains what actually decides the price of a concrete mixer machine in India, so you can compare quotes properly and avoid paying for the wrong machine.
1. Capacity
Capacity is the biggest price factor. A half-bag mixer costs less than a one-bag (10/7 CFT) mixer, which is the standard for most building sites. Larger capacities cost more again. Buy for the work you actually do: a mixer that is too small slows every slab, and one that is too big wastes money and fuel.
2. With lift (hopper) or without lift
A concrete mixer with lift has a hydraulic or mechanical hopper that loads material into the drum. It adds to the price, but it also cuts labour and speeds up slab casting. A mixer without lift is cheaper but needs more manual loading. If you cast slabs regularly, the lift model usually pays back the difference.
3. Diesel engine or electric motor
The power unit is a large part of the cost. Diesel mixers cost more upfront but work anywhere, including new sites without power. Electric mixers are usually cheaper to buy and run, but need a reliable three-phase supply. The engine or motor brand also changes the price, and a known brand is easier to service locally.
4. Build quality
- Drum sheet thickness and welding: thicker sheet lasts longer against sand and aggregate.
- Gearbox and bearings: these take the load every day and decide how long the mixer runs without trouble.
- Chassis, axle and tyres: matter if the mixer is towed between sites.
A cheaper quote often means a thinner drum or lighter gearbox. Always ask what is used.
5. Delivery location
Transport from the factory to your site is part of the final cost. Sites close to Jodhpur or within Rajasthan cost less to deliver to than sites in other states. Share your delivery state when you ask for a quote so the price you get is the real landed price.
6. After-sales support
A low price is not a saving if spare parts are hard to get. Buying directly from a manufacturer usually means faster parts and service, and a clear person to call when something goes wrong.
How to get an accurate price
Tell the manufacturer four things: the capacity you need, with or without lift, diesel or electric, and your delivery location. With these, you will get a quote you can compare fairly.

Frequently asked questions
What decides the price of a concrete mixer machine?
Mainly the capacity, whether it has a lift (hopper), diesel or electric power, the engine or motor brand, build quality and the delivery location.
Is a concrete mixer with lift worth the extra cost?
For sites that cast slabs regularly, yes. The lift saves labour and time on every batch, which usually covers the extra cost.
Why do two quotes for the same capacity differ so much?
Differences in drum thickness, gearbox, engine brand and chassis quality. Ask each seller what is used before comparing prices.
